Solihull Archers is a West Midlands archery club is based in South Birmingham.
Solihull Archers are affiliated with Archery GB, which is the sports governing body in the United Kingdom. This means that all club members are eligible to take part in inter-club national competitions.
The club was originally called Lucas Bowmen, established after the war in 1946.
In 1995 the club changed its name to Solihull Archers. We remain one of the oldest archery clubs in the Midlands.
We are a diverse group of around fifty archers from all age groups. We meet during club hours twice a week, as well as organising club event days such as themed archery shoots, community barbecues, and fundraisers.
Solihull Archers shoot competitively both indoors and outdoors, depending on the season. We make sure all of our sessions are relaxed and fun. Whether you are new to archery or a seasoned archer, we want the club to be a safe and enjoyable environment for all those interested in the sport.
The club offers beginners courses to people wishing to take up the sport, please see the courses page for more details.
